Opening Ceremony of “Chinese + Vocational Skills” Training for Local Teachers in Lao PDR Successfully Held

On the afternoon of 11 May 2022, the Opening Ceremony of “Chinese + Vocational Skills” Training for Local Teachers in Lao PDR was successfully held. This training was co-organised by the ASEAN-China Centre (ACC), the Centre for Language Education and Cooperation (CLEC) of the Ministry of Education of China, the Ministry of Education and Sports of Lao PDR and the Embassy of the Lao PDR in China, and undertaken by Nanjing Vocational University of Industry Technology (NJUIT). A total of 38 Lao teachers of electronic commerce, logistics management and computer network technology will participate in this 8-day training, which covers an overview of vocational education in China, enterprise development and demands, “Chinese + vocational skills” training and Chinese cultural experience. Mr. Saysamone Ngarmsy, Deputy Director General of the Technical Vocational Education Department of the Ministry of Education and Sports of the Lao PDR, Dr. Xie Yonghua, President of NJUIT, Dr. Sun Yanfei, Vice President of NJUIT, representatives of ACC and CLEC attended the opening ceremony online.
