ACC Representative Attended the Seminar on Communication of Green Energy Issues

On 11 May 2022, the Seminar on Communication of Green Energy Issues was held online, hosted by the National Institute of Public Relations and Strategic Communications (NIPRSC) of the Communication University of China (CUC) and organised by the China-ASEAN Center for Advanced Studies (CACAS) of CUC. Scholars, agency representatives, journalists and environmentalists from ASEAN Member States (AMS) including Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar and the Philippines as well as China attended the meeting. Representative of the ASEAN-China Centre (ACC) attended the seminar upon invitation. 

The participants were briefed on the research report on “Environmental and Climatic Communications in China and Five Southeast Asian Countries” by Professor Dong Guanpeng, Dean of the NIPRSC of CUC, and discussed the importance of public communications in national energy transition and environmental governance.
