ACC Representative Attended the Launching of the Vista of the Green Silk Road

On 12 July 2022, Mr. Guo Chuanwei, Director of the Trade and Investment Division (TID) of the ASEAN-China Centre (ACC), attended the launching of the Vista of the Green Silk Road, co-organised by the BRI International Green Development Coalition (BRIGC) and “Belt and Road” Media Cooperation Union.

Ms. Zhou Guomei, Director-General of the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, Mr. Erik Solheim, Convener of the Advisory Committee of BRIGC, and Mr. Guo Xuejun, Deputy Director-General of the Department of International Economic Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, delivered remarks at the launching ceremony. They congratulated on the successful launch of the Vista of the Green Silk Road program and looked forward to the exchange and sharing of experiences to help bridge the knowledge gap in green development, carry out mutual learning of green practices and build consensus on green vision in the Belt and Road countries.

The Vista of the Green Silk Road is the first flagship communication program on BRI green development. It aims to share green development stories through film, television and media approaches in a multidimensional and visual way, so as to share green development visions, experiences, practical cases and achievements of cooperation, showcase the contribution of BRI to regional green and low-carbon development, and enhance the confidence and determination of all parties to further develop the Green Silk Road.
