Policy Interpretation on Vocational Education in China Successfully Held

On the afternoon of 26 October 2022, the Policy Interpretation on Vocational Education in China co-organised by the ASEAN-China Centre (ACC) and the China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE) was successfully held. Ms. He Pei, Director of the Vocational Education and Training Department of CEAIE conducted a comprehensive interpretation of the general situation and programmatic documents of vocational education in China over recent years.

Ms. Pornsiri Charoenserbsakul, Minister Counsellor of Education of the Royal Thai Embassy in China, Mr. Yaya Sutarya, Education and Culture Attaché of the Embassy of Indonesia in China, Mr. Chindavong Xaiyasin, Education and Culture Counsellor of the Embassy of Lao PDR in China, Mr. Tang Jui Piow, Head of Education Section of the Embassy of Singapore in China, and other education officials of embassies of ASEAN Member States (AMS) in China attended the event. Hundreds of representatives from ministries of education and relevant colleges of AMS participated online. Ms. Li Yaying, Deputy Director of the Education, Culture and Tourism Division of ACC presided over the meeting.
