ACC Secretary-General Shi Zhongjun Met with Chairperson of CCPIT Guangxi Committee

On 31 January 2023, H. E. Mr. Shi Zhongjun, Secretary-General of the ASEAN-China Centre (ACC), met with Ms. Yang Yanyan, Chairperson of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Guangxi Committee in Beijing.

Secretary-General Shi said that Guangxi is the frontier and window of China’s opening-up and cooperation towards ASEAN, and ACC is willing to further strengthen exchanges with Guangxi to jointly promote pragmatic cooperation in economic, trade, people-to-people exchanges and other fields between ASEAN and China.

Ms. Yang expressed her gratitude to ACC for its strong support to China-ASEAN Expo, China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit and other activities over the years. In the future, CCPIT Guangxi Committee will continue to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with ACC on the basis of the Memorandum of Understanding signed by both sides, and make new contributions to the development of the ASEAN-China Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

Mr. Guo Chuanwei, Director of the Trade and Investment Division of ACC, Ms. Wu Juan, Vice Chairperson of CCPIT Guangxi Committee, and Mr. Ding Yuanlong, First-level Inspector of CCPIT Guangxi Committee, attended the meeting.
