ACC Secretary General Shi Zhongjun Met with Chinese Ambassador to Singapore Sun Haiyan

On 24 February 2023, H.E. Secretary-General Shi Zhongjun of the ASEAN-China Centre (ACC) met with Chinese Ambassador to Singapore Sun Haiyan at the Chinese Embassy in Singapore.

Secretary General Shi said that as an inter-governmental organisation between ASEAN and China committed to deepening economic and trade ties, expanding people-to-people exchanges, and enhancing mutual understanding and trust, the ACC is willing to strengthen the exchanges and cooperation with the Chinese Embassy in Singapore for the high-quality development of the ASEAN-China Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. Ambassador Sun Haiyan welcomed Secretary General Shi’s visit to Singapore and expressed the Embassy’s willingness to fully support the work of the ACC, promote the implementation of more cooperation projects, and contribute to the building of a closer China-ASEAN community with a shared future.
