The ACC Attends 2023 Children’s Day Lawn Carnival

On 3 June 2023, the opening ceremony of “the Beautiful Encounter between Children and Nature-2023 Children’s Day Lawn Carnival for Chinese and Foreign Children” was successfully held at the China National Children’s Center(CNCC) in Beijing, which was hosted by the CNCC, supported by the ASEAN-China Centre (ACC). Mr. Yuan Lixin, Director of the CNCC, attended the event and delivered a speech. Mrs. Li Yaying, Deputy Director of the Education, Culture and Tourism Division of the ACC, attended the event. Representatives from relevant units, embassies in China, international organisations in China and over 100 children were invited to the Carnival. 

The Carnival well merged lively childhood and fresh nature, weaving them into a deep and beautiful magical picture, showing a beautiful scene of harmonious coexistence between human and nature. The program of the “global village”allowed Chinese and foreign guests and children to share happiness, enjoy classics, enhance friendship, share the charm of Chinese and foreign cultures, and cultivate the idea of peaceful coexistence between mankind and the nature.

At the Carnival, a release ceremony of the commemorative envelope for “the Beautiful Encounter between Children and Nature-2023 Children’s Day Lawn Carnival for Chinese and Foreign Children” was also held.
