The ACC Hosts UNESCO INRULED Delegation

On 7 July 2023, the youth delegation from UNESCO International Research and Training Centre for Rural Education (UNESCO INRULED) based in Beijing Normal University visited the ASEAN-China Centre (ACC).

In his welcoming remarks on behalf of the ACC, Director Hadi Tjahjono of ECTD briefed the delegation on an overview of ASEAN-China relations and the ACC’s role in advancing ASEAN-China practical cooperation in various fields. He also encouraged the delegation members to help build on a better and sustained friendship between ASEAN and China in their future undertakings. The officials from other ACC divisions also had an exchange of views with the students.

Lead teacher and student representatives of the delegation also shared their perspectives on ASEAN-China relations. In the Q&A session, the visitors made inquiries on such issues as the current situation and future prospects of ASEAN-China trade, the demand for talents oriented to international organizations, as well as opportunities and challenges in the service at international organizations.
