SG Shi Zhongjun Meets Delegation of Ministry of Science and Technology of Myanmar

On 17 July 2023, H.E. Secretary General Shi Zhongjun met Permanent Secretary Dr. Sai Kyaw Naing Oo of the Ministry of Science and Technology of Myanmar at the ASEAN-China Centre (ACC).

Secretary General Shi Zhongjun introduced the functions of ACC and its works in education, technology and other fields to the delegation, and expressed that the ACC stands ready to play a bridging role in promoting cooperation in related fields between Myanmar and China. Permanent Secretary Sai Kyaw Naing Oo introduced the Ministry and expressed the hope to further promote the development of human resources, scientific research and standardization in Myanmar. 

Both sides exchanged views on vocational education and technological exchanges between Myanmar and China, and agreed on building connections with relevant agencies from both sides to promote quality cooperation between Myanmar and China.
