The ACC Attends 10+3 National Tourism Organizations Meeting

From 10 to 12 July 2023, the 43rd ASEAN Plus Three National Tourism Organizations (NTO) Meeting and related activities were held in Putrajaya, Malaysia. The delegates from ASEAN NTOs, the ASEAN Secretariat, the ASEAN-China Centre (ACC), the ASEAN-Japan Centre (AJC), the ASEAN-Korea Centre (AKC) and other relevant international tourism organizations attended the meeting and shared their understandings, thoughts and best practices on the recovery and sustainable development of tourism.

The delegates also introduced a series of recent policies and initiatives to promote tourism, and future work plans. During the meeting, Director Hadi Tjahjono of Education, Culture and Tourism Division made a presentation introducing the ACC’s major tourism activities and achievements in the first half of 2023 as well as the work plan in the future. The ASEAN NTOs and other relevant organizations appreciated the ACC’s sustained efforts in promoting ASEAN-China tourism cooperation and enhancing tourism capacity building in ASEAN Member States.
