The ACC Attends 2023 Joint Conference of Southeast Asian Confucius Institute

On 20 July 2023, the opening ceremony of the Joint Conference of Southeast Asian Confucius Institutes hosted by Chinese International Education Foundation was successfully held in Beijing. Representatives from Southeast Asia and China, including education officials, university presidents, Confucius Institute directors, experts and enterprises attended the event. 

Director Hadi Tjahjono of Education, Culture and Tourism Division attended on behalf of the ASEAN-China Centre (ACC) and addressed the opening ceremony. He briefed the Conference on the important role of the ACC in promoting ASEAN-China education cooperation and reiterated the ACC’s commitment to future enhanced efforts in leveling up education cooperation between ASEAN Member States and China, in the purpose of securing closer, better and more sustainable ASEAN-China relations.
