The ACC Hosts Visitors from Myanmar Media

On 13 September 2023, the ASEAN-China Centre (ACC) hosted the Myanmar media delegation, which comprised of representatives from mainstream media of Myanmar including MRTV, Skynet, Global New Light of Myanmar and Swe Myo Pauk Phaw Magazine. The meeting was led by Mr. Fang Qiang, Deputy Director of Information and Public Relation Division and Ms. Yu War Ko, Deputy Director of General Affairs and Coordination Division of the ACC.

During the meeting, the ACC provided an overview of H.E. Secretary General Shi Zhongjun’s recent visit to Myanmar and highlighted the ACC’s effort to promote ASEAN-China media exchanges and cooperation. The Myanmar Media delegation engaged in a productive discussion with the ACC on ways to further enhance people-to-people ties between Myanmar and China as well as ASEAN and China.

The exchange of view allowed both sides to gain a deeper understanding of each other’s perspectives and identified opportunities for future collaboration. The visit of the Myanmar delegation to the ACC was an opportunity to foster media exchanges and cooperation between Myanmar and the ACC.
