On 16 October 2023, H.E. Secretary General Shi Zhongjun of the ASEAN-China Centre (ACC) attended the Indonesia-China Business Forum in Beijing. The event was co-hosted by the Coordinating Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Investment of the Republic of Indonesia and Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China.
H. E. President Joko Widodo of the Republic of Indonesia, H.E. Gao Yunlong, Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, Chairman of All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce and President of All-China Chamber of Industry and Commerce, and H.E. Vice Minister Li Fei of Commerce of China attended and addressed the Forum. About 300 representatives from government agencies, business associations and enterprises of Indonesia and China were present.
During the event, the signing ceremony of cooperation documents between Indonesia and China in emerging areas was held.
