On 28 February 2024, Secretary General Shi Zhongjun of the ASEAN-China Centre (ACC) met with Consul General Vongpano Sipaseuth of Lao PDR, Consul General Benjamas Tanvetyanont of Thailand, Consul General Taing Sokngorn of Cambodia, Consul General Ahmad Phadil Mohamed Ismail of Malaysia and Consul General Khaing Su Linn of Myanmar in Nanning. They had an in-depth exchange of views on exploring potential cooperation between the Consulates General of ASEAN Member States in China and the ACC, so as to broaden the prospects and domains of friendly exchanges and practical cooperation between ASEAN and China.
