Workshop on Import & Export Service Held at the ACC

     On 17 April 2024, the Workshop on ASEAN-China Import and Export Service Platform was successfully held at the ASEAN-China Centre (ACC) Secretariat. The event was co-hosted by the ACC and the Centre for Promotion of Industrial Internet for Silk Road (CPIIS). Around 40 participants, including counsellors and attaches for economic, commercial, trade and investment cooperation from AMS Embassies, as well as business representatives were present.
 
     The purpose of this workshop is to address challenges in development, such as language limitations, data barriers, unbalanced technological advancements and mismatched resources, by utilizing new technologies such as artificial intelligence through building an ASEAN-China information and technological resource platform, and to jointly explore ASEAN-China cooperation in the field of economy and trade and in-depth integration of industrial chains.
 
     Participants had heated discussions over the issues of information sharing and security of the platform, connection mechanism and feedback of information application. They also exchanged views on how to improve and refine the platform.
