SG Shi Shares Views on RCEP Cooperation with China Daily

On 23 May 2024, Secretary General Shi Zhongjun of the ASEAN-China Centre (ACC) published an article titled “The RCEP is a major cooperation achievement of Asian economies that should be actively treasured” on China Daily, elaborating on the important role played by the sustained growth of ASEAN-China Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in promoting the high-quality implementation of the RCEP. SG Shi stressed that countries in the region should cherish the significant achievement of the full entry into force of the RCEP, fully leverage the rules and policies of the agreement, further unleash the dividends of the full and high-quality implementation of the RCEP, and join hands to promote regional economic integration, so as to advance regional development towards greater inclusiveness, modernization, comprehensiveness and mutual benefits.
