The ACC Hosts Summer Camp Students from Chinese Universities

On 23 August 2024, a summer camp delegation of Chinese university students, co-sponsored by Wu Jianmin Foundation, Enlai Foundation and China Foreign Affairs University, visited the ASEAN-China Centre. Director Sun Yi of General Affairs and Coordination, on behalf of Secretary General Shi Zhongjun, received the delegation and briefed the visitors on the ACC’s mandate and its achievements in recent years. He also elaborated on the development and significance of the ASEAN-China Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and encouraged young students to get more involved in promoting cultural affinity and people-to-people connectivity between ASEAN and China. The ACC officials also answered questions raised by the audience on such topics as digital economy, cross-border trade, Lancang-Mekong cooperation, people-to-people exchanges and talents training for international organizations.
