On the aforesaid occasions, Shi Zhongjun stressed the ACC’s role in promoting economic cooperation, trade and people-to-people exchanges between ASEAN Member States (AMS) and China. He noted that ASEAN and China are friendly neighbors and close partners who have been always supporting each other. Since the dialogue relationship was established, ASEAN-China relations have been leveled up to Comprehensive Strategy Partnership, setting a shining example of dynamic and productive partnership in the Asia-Pacific. In addition to traditional fields, ASEAN and China have shown unique complementary advantages and unlocked enormous potential for cooperation in emerging sectors such as digital economy, green energy and modern agriculture. He called on business communities from both sides to join hands to ride the wave of scientific revolution, upgrade industrial cooperation so as to promote regional recovery and prosperity, and secure a steady and sound growth of ASEAN-China Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

Over the years, the ACC has been actively participating in various events of CAEXPO and CABIS, and spared no efforts in serving as a bridge for business exchanges and consolidating multi-faceted practical cooperation between both sides.
