On 20 December 2024, a delegation led by Dr. Songheang Ai, Director of Regional Center for Technical Education Development of Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO TED) visited the ASEAN-China Centre (ACC), and met with Mr. Hadi Tjahjono, Director of Education, Culture and Tourism Division.
The two sides introduced major programs and the work plan for 2025 in the TVET field of each own, and exchanged views on establishing partnership to promote exchanges and cooperation among TVET schools in China and ASEAN countries as well as to facilitate institution-industry cooperation. They agreed to continue keeping close communication and serving the shared mission of promoting ASEAN-China cooperation in TVET. This meeting is a follow up of the ACC’s visit to SEAMEO TED early this month.
SEAMEO TED, based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, is one of the 26 SEAMEO Regional Centers working for promoting technical education in Southeast Asia.
