Members of the Cambodian Royal Family Visit the ACC

On 10 January 2025, Secretary General Shi Zhongjun of the ASEAN-China Centre (ACC) hosted Princess Norodom Bophary and Princess Norodom Jenna of Cambodia at the ACC. Diplomats from the Cambodian Embassy in Beijing attended the meeting.

Shi Zhongjun welcomed the delegation's visit to the ACC and briefed them on the ACC's mandate and achievements in promoting friendly exchanges and practical cooperation between China and ASEAN Member States (AMS), including Cambodia. He highlighted the enduring ironclad friendship between China and Cambodia and congratulated Cambodia on its remarkable development in recent years. He stressed that the ACC is always willing to continue cooperation and exchanges with Cambodia and contribute to the long-term development of China-Cambodia and ASEAN-China friendship, so as to bring more tangible benefits to the people of the region.

Princess Norodom Bophary and Princess Norodom Jenna recalled the long-standing friendship between the Cambodian Royal Family and the Chinese people and government, and expressed their sincere gratitude for China's strong support for Cambodia's economic and social development. They spoke highly of the ACC's great contribution to promoting exchanges and cooperation between Cambodia and China, and expressed their willingness to deepen cooperation with the ACC and contribute to promoting understanding and friendship between Cambodia and China.
