ACC Celebrates New Year with AMS Officials

On 15 January 2025, the ASEAN-China Centre (ACC) hosted a reception for the AMS officials in charge of economic and related areas including trade and investment, agriculture, and science and technology to celebrate the New Year at the ACC.

Secretary General Shi Zhongjun of the ACC reiterated his appreciation for the steady support from the ASEAN embassies for the ACC’s activities over the past year. Looking forward to the milestone developments in 2025, including the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the ASEAN Community, the adoption of the ASEAN Community Vision 2045, and the upgrade of the China-ASEAN Free Trade Agreement, the ACC will place greater efforts to translate cooperations into concrete outcomes. The cooperation focuses on the promotion of two-way trade and investment and emerging areas such as digital and green economy. 

During the reception, the ACC and AMS colleagues exchanged views on how to foster closer working relationship and deepen amiable cooperation between the two sides.
