The ACC Attends the 46th Meeting of ASEAN Plus Three National Tourism Organizations

     On 17 January 2025, the 46th Meeting of ASEAN Plus Three National Tourism Organizations (NTO) kicked off in Johor, Malaysia during the ASEAN Tourism Forum (ATF) 2025 hosted by the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture of Malaysia (MOTAC). Heads of NTOs from 10 ASEAN countries, China, Japan, ROK and 3 ASEAN centers, namely the ASEAN-China Centre (ACC), the ASEAN-Japan Centre (AJC) and the ASEAN-Korea Centre (AKC) attended the meeting. The meeting was co-chaired by Malaysia and the Republic of Korea (ROK).

 
 
     The delegates briefed the meeting on the progress of their respective tourism activities under the frameworks of the ASEAN NTOs Plus Three Cooperation. Director Hadi Tjahjono of the Division of Education, Culture and Tourism spoke on behalf of the ACC on its activities in 2024-2025 to support the ASEAN Plus Three tourism Cooperation. The ASEAN Member States commended the tourism activities of the ACC and requested the ACC to continue supporting ASEAN countries in promoting tourism cooperation with China.
 
 
 
     The meeting also discussed the preparations for the 24th Meeting of ASEAN, China, Japan and ROK Tourism Ministers (M-ATM Plus Three) and confirmed the co-chairmanship of the Philippines and Japan for the 47th and the 48th Meetings of ASEAN Plus Three NTOs.
