On 18 January 2025, Secretary General Shi Zhongjun of the ASEAN-China Centre (ACC) met with Ambassador Cao Zhongming of China to Singapore. Both sides exchanged views on making common efforts in further enhancing ASEAN-China Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, as well as Singapore-China relations. Secretary General Shi underlined that the ACC stands ready to, under the framework of 2025 ASEAN-China Year of People-to-people Exchanges and the 35th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between Singapore and China, play a more active role in deepening practical cooperation and people-to-people connectivity through delivering various programs and activities. Ambassador Cao committed the Embassy’s sustained support to the ACC’s future endeavors.
